Like the 'Bidgee after some solid rain.

Time for a wash, detox and trim.

One of my biggest fears walking around with dreads in the night is 'taking onboard a spider'.

No spider nests this time - phew!

There is fishing and then there is whatever this is called.

Bdazzled Baits deemed redundant on this one... 😂

Bdazzled Baits black 2.5 inch grub getting this little one just on darkness. Smacked my lure at my feet.

Hit and fought like a train on my 1-3kg ultralight one-piece outfit from Dennis at Canberra Fishing Rod Repairs.

Three sexy Golden Perch this evening. Just so beautiful and radiant.

They are getting aggressive and competitive for the orange 🍊 twin tail grubs from Bdazzled Baits!

Catch and release is so important. Good handling of our natives is pivotal. He is learning and today was a pleasure seeing him capture and release this golden perch. His first ever!

And for him to get it on a Bdazzled Baits softy made it all the more sweeter.

His first ever Yella this morning! And on a soft plastic orange twin tailed grub from Bdazzled Baits to boot! Just 4 years old. Geez he was stoked. It went 46cm and was super healthy.

Greatest thing about this moment was that he landed the fish, picked it up without hesitation and thumbed the fish before a quick release! No lip grips required.

Bdazzled Baits 3 inch swimbait catching everything this evening near Woden in ACT 😂

Can't be giving up spots too easily for those special catches 😆

A great all round soft plastic for Freshwater (Trout, Yellowbelly and Redfin). Contact Ben on Facebook at his Bdazzled Baits page.
