Less than 24 hours before the start of the 2019 season, the Canberra Cavalry engaged Toast AV to provide video production and livestreaming for the Cavalry's home games.
The high definition stream below is what we achieved in 22.5 hours.
We are very much looking forward to making tomorrow night's game even better :)

I could have operated the John Farnham gig from front of house and had the most beautiful view from my 'office', but I chose to create a studio under the stage where it's quieter.
I'm sure all my camera operators appreciate that there's less noise in the comms.
But not as good opportunities for Instagramming 🤣

This will help take our productions up a level.
Setting up our new electronic gimbal stabiliser, with one of our cameras and wireless video transmitters.
Stable roving cameras can be the difference between good and great live streams.

Maybe Gangnam Style had more views overall, but we still think it's great that our live-stream of yesterday's local Rugby minor-semi final on the Brumbies Rugby FB page has had over 11,000 views in 24 hours, and a post reach fast approaching half a million.

Super reliable camera operator Gee wrapped up like the Michelin man filming women's rugby finals from the roof of Vikings park Tuggeranong.
18 weeks into a 20 week season and Gee hasn't missed a week. Gotta love staff like that :)

Today's match between Qbn and ANU was watched live by over 600 people, most on Facebook ACT & SNSW Club Rugby, and some on the official link
