The ABC is frantically covering the US bombing of three sites in Iran, but they were scraping the bottom when they trotted out Scott Morrison.

ABC told us that Morrison "had a relationship" with Bibby Netanyahu, and could speak for how the Israelis in general and Netanyahu in specific were feeling.

Morrison then proceeded to answer his own questions and not the interviewers', lie through his teeth, make empty statements and wide sweeping generalisations. You know the score - if anything, now he's not PM - he's actually worse.

He nattered on incessantly, but had nothing to say.

Thank goodness he finally accepted the Australian public's verdict on him and eventually resigned from parliament after well over a year hanging on as the member for Cook.

There have been some highlights of the ABC's coverage today, including sage remarks from Raf Epstein on "Insiders" asking journalists why they have never asked about the LEGALITY of the actions of the Netanyahu government.

The other - far and above others - is the quality of the reporting from Allison Horn who was in Brisbane in November last having a baby, and is now in Tel Aviv.

One Term Tories - A Facebook community dedicated to opposing the conservative policies of the LNP & other right-wing nut-job parties.

The page launched as “One Term Tony”, in October 2013, just a month after Abbott was elected, and the page slowly grew. Joe Hockey brought down a budget in May 2014 which basically brought down the government, and this page grew enormously. Smokin’ Joe is now in arguably the most cushy diplomatic job ever, as ambassador to the United States.

When Abbott’s position was shaky thanks to him knighting Prince Philip in the Australia Day Honours list in January 2015 we made the minimalist/generalist choice to change the page name to “One Term Tories” thanks to a suggestion from a reader. While WE had changed the name of the page, it took the Liberals another seven-odd months to change the leader, kicking Abbott out on 15 September 2015, two (or three depending on how you define “until”) days short of Abbott hitting a parliamentary pension benchmark for Prime Minister, and thus under new entitlement rules, NOT entitled to a full Prime Ministerial pension. Ah, if Malcolm had just held off for another couple of days...

The page is NOT run by any party, and is not necessarily in favour of the ALP or the Greens. We are just ordinary citizens who are critically opposed to the right-wing neo-Liberal (Thatcherite) policies of the Big Business Bum Biters we now see in the chambers of Parliament House in Canberra. They have to go.
