د افغانستان ستونزه سیاسي او د یوې ښې پالیسئ د نه شتون ستونزه ده، نو اړینه ده چې پر دغه ستونزو علمي بحثونه او څېړنې وشي تر څو حل لارې ومندل شي، په همدې تړاو د اسټرالیا د نړیوالو اړیکو انسټېټیوټ په کوربتوب د “تعامل او که انزوا؟ د طالبانو تر واک لاندې افغانستان سره د نړیوالې پالیسئ بیا کتنه او ارزونه” تر عنوان لاندې تخنیکي پنل بحث برخه یم. موخه مو د افغانستان د روان وضعیت ارزونه، د موجودو ستونزو څېړنه، او د ممکنه حل لارو په اړه د رغنده او علمي بحث رامنځته کول دي.

It was a pleasure to host and moderate the Australian Institute of International Affairs’s Europe Day event, titled - Developments in Australia–EU Relations.

The discussion brought together representatives from the European Union Delegation, Deputy Heads of Mission from several EU member states, government officials, academics, industry representatives, and members of the broader policy community for a timely and engaging discussion on the future of Australia–EU relations.

We were honoured to welcome Dr Oliver Landwehr, Deputy Head of Mission of the European Union to Australia, as keynote speaker, and state minister for defence, alongside distinguished panelists and guests who shared valuable perspectives on trade, strategic engagement, innovation, and the opportunities emerging through the growing Australia–EU relationship.

Australia has a significant opportunity in how it can approaches climate and environmental policy and a well-coordinated approach to climate policy could help strengthen Australia’s economic future while supporting long-term environmental outcomes.

It was valuable to hear perspectives from across policy, academia, and strategic analysis on how climate governance is evolving within Australia and globally. A key takeaway from the debate was the growing recognition that climate is no longer viewed solely as an environmental issue it is increasingly intersecting with economic resilience, governance, and national security considerations.

Also it was great to reconnect with colleagues and hear from experts including Senator Andrew McLachlan CSC, Dr. John Bruni, and Jennifer McKay.
