If you’ve been around here a while, you’ll know that we’re a cruise kinda family. I’ve had this dream for years to cruise to the Bahamas and spend a day at CocoCay (yep, that all inclusive private island owned by Royal Caribbean).

That dream finally set sail and came true! We hopped aboard the brand spankin’ new Utopia of the Seas, and it was every bit as amazing as I imagined. The only downside? We never wanted to get off. 😂

I’m still thinking about the food (seriously, the food was amazing), and the kids? They had an absolute ball with new friends, non-stop fun, and endless activities. Did you see the water park on board? 😮

We’re already planning our next one (I was planning while I was still on board). Maybe we’ll try the next newest ship one day.

If you’re heading to Orlando for Disney World and thinking about a cruise, do it! It was a highlight of our trip.✨

I cheated and used a jar of sweet and sour sauce. You could totally make your own honey chicken sauce or sweet and sour sauce, so let me know if you want those recipes.👌

This recipe is old-school, simple, and never lets you down. Oh, and it makes over 100 biscuits from one batch. Yes. One. Batch.

You can mix in whatever you like: Mnms, choc chips, Biscoff spread, Nutella, peanut butter.

You’ll need: (just 4 ingredients)

✨ ¾ cup raw sugar
✨ 500g butter, softened
✨ 5 cups self-raising flour
✨ 1 x 390g tin condensed milk

How to make them

👉🏻 Preheat oven to 160° and line a tray
👉🏻 Cream butter + sugar
👉🏻 Add flour and mix
👉🏻 Stir in condensed milk
👉🏻 Split dough and add mix-ins if you like
👉🏻 Roll into balls, press with a fork
👉🏻 Bake 8–10 mins (watch them!)

✨ One batch. One hundred biscuits. Easy!

✨ Creamy Cajun Steak Pasta ✨
You know when a recipe pops up on TikTok and you just know you have to make it? Yep, this was one of those.💁🏼‍♀️

I used fresh pasta (because I got a pasta machine 🤣) but any pasta you’ve got will work perfectly.

Here’s what you’ll need:

👉🏻500g steak
👉🏻Cajun seasoning (cover the steak in it)
👉🏻Pasta pack
👉🏻500ml cream
👉🏻1 packet cream of chicken soup mix
👉🏻1 diced onion
👉🏻1 tablespoon minced garlic

✨Season steak with Cajun and cook. Slice.
✨Sauté onion and garlic.
✨Add cream and soup mix. Simmer until thick.
✨Cook pasta.
✨Add pasta and steak to sauce. Toss.

It’s creamy and full of flavour!

Yes! Grab a packet of vanilla Woolies cake mix + 1 cup of soft drink and you’re good to go. 🙌🏻

I whipped up these “pink sundae” ones and the kids absolutely LOVED them! 🩷
