Recently I was honoured with the opportunity to be part of the judging panel for the Goldfish Awards 2025 😊

This was an excellent creative project for the Communications students to create a 3-minute Noir film, with no budget, using only their phones, and having to add ALL sound in post production. The standard for films submitted was phenomenal!

I was asked to find winners in the categories Best Screenplay, Best Score & Best Sound Design, which was incredibly hard.

Doing this inspired me to get more creative and also, seeing these photos, inspired me to taking my hands out of my pockets from time to time😂 Thanks so much for the invitation to partake in this - well done on a brilliant night!

Five amazing, big, eye opening and exhausting days in Darwin with an excellent crew, capturing the stories told Symposium. So many impressions and so many laughs in between. These selfies was all I remebered to get on my phone, just to document how I wore everyone down with my jokes😂 thanks for having me onboard team!

A wild, wonderful week of wall to wall mural-action!
I have truly had the most amazing time during Newy 2024 Edition😊 these selfies are just some of the most excellent old and new friends I got to hang out with - a team that showed so much resilience through that bizarre weather, and always kept laughing and smiling…at least whenever I was there with a camera 😂🤷‍♂️ I can’t wait to share some highlights from it all - but people of Newcastle: Get out there and check out all the new (and old) murals around our beautiful city! And make sure you follow all these artists as they travel Australia and the rest of the world making more epic art🙌
Thanks again and BPF team - it may be over for now but the memories…and the fumes…will be with me forever ❤️😂 PS: we didn’t get a selfie but thank you also for all that you do 👊

I don’t think I can accurately express how awesome it is to get to work with the legendary crew at 🙌We have collaborated on a few projects over last few years (as in they do all the work and I just get in the way whilst filming them😬) and, although I will miss them in the interim, I also can not wait for the new and improves version on the Gallery when it is finally completed! Newcastle deserves a larger gallery for its stunning collection. In the meantime, enjoy these little films to show a snippet of the huge amount of work the team at NAG have been doing over the last months…and again: Thanks to and everyone at the Gallery for letting me capture what you do. It is great fun and a real honour😊
