PAINTING MY SISTER’S DOG!
I wanted to do something special for my sister for Christmas. So I decided to paint her fur baby Jax. He’s the same age as my boy Basil 🐶 and we got them weeks apart over 11 years ago. Brothers from other mothers! I feel like I really captured his goofiness and I’m SO HAPPY with how it turned out. I haven’t painted in ages and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to produce something I was proud of. But I just went for it and I got lost in the creative process. The day just melted away and I was actually a bit surprised how much I loved doing it. He’s now hanging up in her games room. 🥰🤩🩷 scott.22

And just like that, I’m 38! 🥳 What a difference a year makes!
Last Christmas I had no idea what 2025 would bring. This Christmas I’m thankful to be here, another year older. I’m a different person in a lot of ways. The hardest part is done but I still have a way to go before I’m done with this chapter. Let’s just say I’m looking forward to a fresh new year. 38 is gonna be better. I can feel it! Merry Christmas everyone! 🩷🩷

Tegan MacCormack, known to many as cake decorating whiz Tigga Mac, never expected to be undergoing breast cancer treatment at Frankston Hospital in her thirties.

“For the last couple of months, I've felt like I've pushed pause on everything in my life,” she shares. “It’s such a dark time, but being able to go into the Chemotherapy Unit and be so well looked after made it so much easier.”

This Christmas, Peninsula Health is raising funds for new equipment for our cancer services.

“Everyone knows someone who has had cancer or is going through it — it touches everyone,” says Tegan. “If you live locally, give to the health service who might end up helping your loved ones. Just the smallest amount can really help if we all pitch in.”

Okie Dokie & G’day everyone!
Just wanted to pop my head in for a quick hello. 👋🏼👩🏻‍🦲
It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly 5 months since my whole life got flipped upside down. 🙃
Definitely didn’t begin the year thinking the big C was on my bingo card, but I guess life is full of surprises. Some good, some not so much. 😅
Ngl, it’s been tough. It has taken a toll on me physically and mentally.
It has been draining.
It has been painful.
It has been scary.
It has been eye opening.
But I’m getting through it and I’m doing ok. I’m over half way done with Chemo!
Yeah Chemo. I’ve learned a lot about the entire process that’s for sure. It really knocks you about. I seriously had no idea what I was in for.
Once Chemo is done at the end of August, I’ll have a bit of a break and then Radiotherapy will come next. But that’s a worry for another day!
Anywho, just wanted to give a little update and say that I’m doing ok. I’m loving Katie’s videos, they make me smile each and every time.
I’m here reading comments and trying to respond when I can! I miss the cake life a lot and can’t wait to get back in the kitchen full time again. Love you all and thanks for reading, following, watching, supporting.
