Okie Dokie & G’day everyone!
Just wanted to pop my head in for a quick hello. 👋🏼👩🏻‍🦲
It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly 5 months since my whole life got flipped upside down. 🙃
Definitely didn’t begin the year thinking the big C was on my bingo card, but I guess life is full of surprises. Some good, some not so much. 😅
Ngl, it’s been tough. It has taken a toll on me physically and mentally.
It has been draining.
It has been painful.
It has been scary.
It has been eye opening.
But I’m getting through it and I’m doing ok. I’m over half way done with Chemo!
Yeah Chemo. I’ve learned a lot about the entire process that’s for sure. It really knocks you about. I seriously had no idea what I was in for.
Once Chemo is done at the end of August, I’ll have a bit of a break and then Radiotherapy will come next. But that’s a worry for another day!
Anywho, just wanted to give a little update and say that I’m doing ok. I’m loving Katie’s videos, they make me smile each and every time.
I’m here reading comments and trying to respond when I can! I miss the cake life a lot and can’t wait to get back in the kitchen full time again. Love you all and thanks for reading, following, watching, supporting.

✨TIGGA UPDATE!✨
Okie dokie.
Today I had my first round of Chemo.
It was a scary day. All the unknown. I was TERRIFIED. When I arrived, the nurses made me feel so welcome, reassured me. Made me feel safe.
I did have a mild reaction to the first drug (which is common but was still a bit scary!) but the nurses sorted it quickly and all went smoothly after that. I can’t say it enough- The nurses are so amazing. I felt very well looked after here at Frankston.
My wonderful Hubby came with me to hold my hand. My absolute 🪨

For anyone wondering why I haven’t started chemo until now, it’s because after surgery I went straight into 2 rounds of fertility preservation. Egg freezing. (Chemo ain’t kind to the reproductive system) and yeah wow. I had no idea it was gonna be so tough!! Big eye opener. 😅 But glad that’s all done and now onto the next!

Hoping the next few months of treatment go smoothly. I’ll be popping in to do some vids whenever I feel up for it. Miss it so much!

Also- I’ll probably be rocking a wig or some cool head wraps pretty soon!
If anyone has any amazing WIG SHOP recommendations here in Melb hit me up! would love to be able to try some on in person.

24 DAYS OF PAVLOVA: FROM WORST TO BEST!
WOW. What a fun series, 24 Pavlovas in 24 days! We are a bit sad it’s over tbh!
We tried toppings for the first time, we tried strange combinations and all the classic flavours.
From the fails (rocky road and Christmas pudding) to the absolute BANGERS (Dubai choc, crème brûlée & traditional) this was such an awesome way to count down to Christmas (and my birthday!)
Thank you to everyone who followed along and gave us all your thoughts along the way! And we have loved seeing other people join in the fun at home. 🩷 and no, I’m not sick of pavlova yet! In fact I’m making a full sized one for my family Christmas lunch! Which topping will I be doing? 🤔

COLGATE THE REINDEER!
Today we went live over on YouTube and created this very cute reindeer! Named Colgate due to the Mohawk looking like toothpaste! It was so fun interacting with everyone in the chat and doing live POLLS to help pick which direction we went in.
