Have you ever thought about making a rooster meat stock!?
Yesterday while we were out & about I slow-cooked a young rooster gifted to me by my Dad who is the Cummins unofficial ’Rooster Butcher’ 🐓 😆🙌🏼
The breast meat is white just like a hen and their legs are darker meat like a duck. You honestly can’t taste the difference!
I got this highly nourishing stock and meat which cost me nothing & involved a little time yet sadly often roosters are destroyed for compost!
In a time of increasing food costs and being over-fed and under-nourished I highly recommend you think more openly & creatively!
