AJP is the oldest continuously published magazine in Australia, beginning its life back in 1886.
In fact AJP long predates both the Pharmacy Guild of Australia and the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (though not the state branches of the latter).
The Australasian Journal of Pharmacy began life as the journal of the Pharmaceutical Society of Victoria, until the first national AJP was published in January 1920.
In 1968 the name was modernised to the Australian Journal of Pharmacy (AJP).
The AJP is Australia’s leading independent source of pharmacy news, views, education and information. Our team of journalists and expert commentators provides the latest information that’s relevant to pharmacists in all sectors – whether community, hospital, clinical, academic or industry.
The AJP is the only pharmacy news source accessible across all the following media:
Print – via our monthly journal
Digital – with our industry-leading daily email newsletter, website updates, and the AJP e-mag
Social – through our sector-leading Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter feeds
Video – giving more in-depth access to leading pharmacy news-makers and information
Added to this, our growing range of CPD-accredited education offerings helps pharmacists meet their continuing professional education (CPE) commitments. The AJP’s CPD courses are available in both print and digital formats.
