never seen it - imagine the year 1950...oh go on, some of

that era, and buy this book. (Having read it I couldn't wait
for the next, called The Bank Manager, which I gave myself for Christmas 2016. I'v just started that one.)
There is wry humour and old fashioned police work
investigating this startling and baffling crime.

Wonderful. If only the ABC would form a series around these books by this magnificent author with an astounding

It has been some time since we posted our previous news. We will, therefore, be uploading fewer posts in the future until we organise a website where everyone will be able to visit, participate and communicate with us.

About the Author

Author, blogger and retired journalist, Helen Briton Wheeler had a country childhood in South Australia and Queensland. After schooling in Brisbane, she studied graphic art and married a fellow art student from Thailand. The couple moved to Bangkok and then to a farming village outside the city. It was an opportunity for Helen to learn about another culture and worldview and, of course, the Thai language.

The marriage foundered, and Helen returned to Sydney, Australia, to make a home, bring up the couple’s two children and work as a journalist, principally as a magazine sub-editor.

After she retired from journalism, Helen turned to writing fiction and self-published her first novel, Day of the Diamond Earrings. Finding Felicity is her second novel, the idea for the setting coming after a visit to family in Thailand.

Helen blogs regularly on her site, Food & 42 (http://foodand42.blogspot.com.au) and has her own page.

This book will make the reader understand the codes and symbols hidden in the book of Revelation as stated in chapter 13: "Let the one with understanding reckon the meaning of the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. His number is 666."

The author writes:

“I have always been intrigued by the book of ‘Revelation This book has been the food for thought for many centuries and predicts the future of humanity. One specific part is chapter 17 in which St John states the following:

‘"Babylon the Great, the Mother of Prostitutes and Abominations of the Earth."
“...I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads....
And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication....
And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains [or hills], on which the woman sitteth.”

Now, many scholars of different religions attempted over the past two millennia to find out who is “The Harlot” and where it sits.

It is very clear from the same chapter that it is a “city”, not a country, not a religion (religion will come into the picture in later chapters). But there is about eighty (80) cities worldwide that sit on seven hills. Religions accuse each other of being the “Harlot”. For example, while the Jews say it is “Rome”, however, Christians say it is “Jerusalem”.

No one has ever found which city it is and who is the “Beast”.

You will be amazed to find out in this book who is the “Harlot” and who is the “Beast”, and A detailed explanation of the days we are living in and … the future.
