‼️URGENT PSA ‼️

We won’t be open until further notice today 🥲 as the neighbouring tobacconist have increased is security against arsonists, that has left us as the target this time around.

We are waiting on the police to finish what they’re doing so we can start cleaning and repairing, and hopefully (hopefully) be open for dinner.

We have suffered some fire damage and plenty of broken glass. Rest assured all mess and safety hazards to staff, patrons, and product will be fully assessed and rectifed before we put anyone else at risk

We apologise for the inconvenience this causes, please bear with us.

Queensland Police Service have taken a 25-year-old man into custody following investigations into a suspicious fire at a Capalaba business last night.

Detectives from Bayside CIB and Taskforce Masher arrested the man at Deception Bay this afternoon.

Glad he was caught quickly - we’re keen to support the surrounding businesses.

🚨🐨 Attention, Ormiston residents! 🐨🚨

Last night, a healthy koala mum was hit by a car, and while she’s currently in care at the vets, her little joey is still missing.

Our dedicated volunteers have been searching tirelessly, but no luck so far. There’s a chance the joey may have gotten caught in the car's grill. If you are the driver of this car, please check for a trapped joey!

This is a stark reminder that wildlife is currently on the move. If you witness any wildlife-vehicle collisions, please report them immediately to Redlands 24-hour Wildlife Rescue Service on (07) 3833 4031!

We urge everyone in the Sturgeon Street area to be extra vigilant. Check small trees, property fence lines and covered road gutters. Keep an eye out for the lost joey, and if you spot anything, please contact wildlife (07) 3833 4031 ASAP! Let’s work together to help reunite this koala family. 🐾❤️
