एम्प्युटी रनवे नेपाल २०२६: आत्मविश्वास, साहस र प्रतिनिधित्वको उत्सव
काठमाडौँ – निर्मला फाउन्डेसनले यस वर्ष एम्प्युटी रनवे नेपाल २०२६ आयोजना गर्न लागेको छ। कार्यक्रम chaitra २८ गते (११ अप्रिल २०२६, शनिबार), साँझ ६:३० बजे दरबारमार्गस्थित क्लब प्लेटिनममा सुरु हुनेछ। यस वर्षको मुख्य विषयवस्तु: “From the Sideline to the Spotlight” हो।
यो रनवे केवल एउटा फेसन शो मात्र होइन- यो एक अर्थपूर्ण मञ्च र रूपान्तरणकारी अवसर हो। यसले सहभागीहरूलाई केवल स्टेजमा कसरी हिँड्ने वा सौन्दर्य प्रस्तुत गर्ने मात्र होइन, समग्र विकासका लागि एउटा स्थान सिर्जना गर्छ, जसमा ग्रुमिङ, व्यक्तिगत विकास तथा आत्मविश्वास अभिवृद्धि समावेश छन्। महत्त्वपूर्ण रूपमा, यो एकदिने कार्यक्रम मात्र होइन। यो रनवेभन्दा अगाडि दुई हप्तासम्म सञ्चालन हुने विभिन्न कार्यक्रमहरू र गतिविधिहरू समेटिएको एक समग्र कार्यक्रम हो, जसले सहभागीहरूलाई पूर्ण रूपमा तयार र सशक्त बनाउँछ। यस कार्यक्रमले कृत्रिम अङ्ग (प्रोस्थेटिक लिम्ब) को हेरचाह तथा व्यवस्थापन जस्ता महत्वपूर्ण ज्ञानमा पनि जोड दिन्छ, जसले सहभागीहरूको दैनिक जीवनमा सहयोग पुर्याउँछ। साथै, यो प्रतिभा र सीप प्रदर्शन गर्ने एउटा मञ्च पनि हो, जहाँ केवल बाह्य सौन्दर्य मात्र होइन, बुद्धिमत्ता, सहनशीलता र आन्तरिक शक्तिको पनि उत्सव मनाइन्छ।
निर्मला फाउन्डेसन एम्प्युटी रनवे नेपाल मार्फत लिम्ब लस अवेयरनेस फैलाउँदैछ। अप्रिल विश्वभर **“लिम्ब लस अवेयरनेस मन्थ”**को रूपमा मनाइन्छ। कार्यक्रमले सन्देश दिन्छ कि कृत्रिम हात वा खुट्टा प्रयोग गर्ने व्यक्तिहरू पनि फेसन, अभिव्यक्ति र पहिचानमा पूर्ण स्वतन्त्र हुन सक्छन्।
कार्यक्रममा महिला, पुरुष र अन्य सबै लिङ्गका सहभागीहरू सामेल हुनेछन्। उनीहरू विविध पृष्ठभूमिका छन्- कोही फुटबल खेलाडी, कोही बैंकिङ क्षेत्रमा कार्यरत, कोही अन्य पेशा वा सामाजिक क्षेत्रमा सक्रिय। यसले समाजमा खुलेर अघि बढ्न गाह्रो अनुभव गरिरहेका व्यक्तिहरूका लागि प्रेरणाको स्रोत बन्नेछ।
फेसन र सौन्दर्य केवल पूर्ण शरीरमा सीमित छैन; यो दृढता, संघर्ष, आत्मविश्वास र पहिचानमा बस्छ। सहभागी मोडलहरूले डिजाइनर पोशाकमा हिँड्दा कृत्रिम अंग कुनै बाधा नभएको देखाउनेछन्; बरु, यो उनीहरूको शक्ति र पहिचानको अभिन्न अङ्ग हो।

Amputee Runway Nepal 2026: A Celebration of Confidence, Courage, and Representation
Kathmandu – Nirmala Foundation is set to organize Amputee Runway Nepal 2026 this year. The event will take place on Baisakh 28 (April 11, 2026, Saturday) at 6:30 PM at Club Platinum, Durbarmarg. This year’s theme is “From the Sideline to the Spotlight.”
This runway is not merely a fashion show—it is a meaningful platform and a transformative opportunity. It creates a space for holistic development, including grooming, personal growth, and confidence building, going beyond teaching participants only how to walk on stage or present beauty. Importantly, this is not a one-day event. It is a comprehensive program that includes multiple activities and engagements conducted over the two weeks leading up to the runway, ensuring participants are fully prepared and empowered.
The program also emphasizes essential knowledge, such as the care and management of prosthetic limbs, supporting participants in their daily lives. Moreover, it serves as a stage to showcase skills and talents, celebrating not only external beauty but also intelligence, resilience, and inner strength.Through Amputee Runway Nepal, Nirmala Foundation promotes limb loss awareness. April is globally observed as “Limb Loss Awareness Month.” The event sends a message that individuals using prosthetic arms or legs can enjoy full freedom in fashion, expression, and identity. Participants will include women, men, and people of all genders. They come from diverse backgrounds- some are football players, some work in banking, and others are active in various professions or social fields. This serves as a source of inspiration for those who face challenges in openly participating in society.
Fashion and beauty are not limited to a complete body; they reside in determination, struggle, confidence, and identity. As participant models walk the runway in designer outfits, prosthetic limbs will be showcased not as limitations but as integral parts of their strength and identity.
