Welcome to the Goodstart Cockburn Central family! Goodstart Cockburn Central is a 99-place centre offering our families flexibility and quality care. Meals are provided and our onsite qualified cook creates fresh and nutritious meals daily, catering for all dietary requirements. Our Open Door Policy offers families and community members the flexibility in touring o

ur service and for our breastfeeding parents – we have a beautiful and peaceful secluded space in the Nursery room to support this. This page is a family-friendly community page where we can come together and share our interest in, and passion for, early childhood learning and care. While we are very excited to hear from you, please be aware that we reserve the right to moderate this page as we see fit and remove any posts or materials that we deem inappropriate or not beneficial to the wider community. This includes but is not limited to posts that are:

• Abusive, defamatory, or obscene language
• Fraudulent, deceptive or misleading

Goodstart Ears2Learn is a program run with Earbus Foundation and a few other partners. It gives little ones aged 0–5 free ear checks right in their Goodstart centre. Our children had an amazing time throughout Halloween week, exploring sensory play and creating their own “spooky potions.” They mixed, stirred, fizzed and added creepy-crawly bugs, letting their imaginations run wild!

From January 2026, all Australian families eligible for CCS will be guaranteed at least 3 days a week (72 hours per fortnight) of subsidised early childhood education and care.

This landmark change — the 3 Day Guarantee — replaces the Child Care Subsidy Activity Test and means:
✅ Eligible families can save thousands each year
✅ Every child can access vital early learning opportunities
✅ Certainty for families who are working, studying, or looking for work
✅ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families receive 100 hours per fortnight (up to 5 days a week)
