Thankfully, two beloved local gems in Coffs Harbour are making it easier than ever to reconnect—with community, creativity, and ourselves. Whether it’s a chilled-out Sunday at Harbourside Markets or a nourishing weekday stop at The Happy Frog Café, each offer its own unique experience centred on local flavour and heartfelt connection.

Owned by Dusty and Sasha, Ground Earth is Woolgoolga’s go-to café for laid-back vibes, great coffee, and a menu that champions seasonal, locally sourced produce. Known affectionately as the town’s “hipster café,” Ground Earth has carved out a reputation for its creative vegetarian dishes, rotating daily specials, and community-focused feel. We caught up with co-owner Dustin Bowie-Ford to find out more about the passion behind the plates.

Our Story

Focus is the smart choice with 21,000 printed glossy copies, strategically distributed, impeccably designed and available online via our website, issuu and on Facebook. Founded on the desire to produce beautiful graphic design, and platform to tell positive stories of our region - FOCUS publications have been gracing coffee tables since late 2005.

When it came to creating a space for local businesses to advertise in print, the focus product filled a niche in the free & gloss market. Somewhere between a newspaper and a retail magazine you would find in newsagents, focus found their space.

Less clutter, more words, and always beautiful photography.

For founders Jay and Louise Beaumont, contributing positively to the community has always been at the forefront of their business mission. By being actively involved in charity events, community events and festivals, business networks and their own hobbies with videography and sports.
