Ching Hwa Show Community Radio Station The station is manned entirely by volunteers, from presenters right through to management.

Ching Hwa show is a program focusing on sharing news and stories from the local multicultural community of Colac and surrounding district every Sunday from 1pm - 2pm on OCR FM. OCR FM is a community radio station that broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on 98.3FM Colac and District and 88.7FM along the coast. We began broadcasting in 1991 as Colac Public Radio and our license (3OCR) has expan

ded to include the Otways and across South West Victoria. Our programming consists of a variety of specialist music programs such as rock, country, folk and comedy, to information programs, sports and access programs for the print handicapped.

We rely on membership from community members, donations and sponsorship (advertising) from local businesses to assist with the running of the station. We are not a government funded body, but appreciate any grant funding to assist with purchasing new equipment. One week in to and our challengers are all at different stages of their journey.
Tyson has been busily learning how to knit and is progressing line by line on his first creation.
Felicity has been calculating every dollar and cent to stay within her $6.50 a day budget.
Brayden has been designing, measuring and cutting the materials for his animal costume.
Rosemary has been working on ‘Paper Roses’ each day with her karaoke challenge.
Jof has increased the expectations on his daily display of the OCR FM logo by linking it in some way to the stations history.
And Francois has been practising the guitar for 30 minutes each day.
