We began broadcasting in 1991 as Colac Public Radio and our license (3OCR) has expanded to include the Otways and across South West Victoria. The station is manned entirely by volunteers, from presenters right thro

ugh to management. Our programming consists of a variety of specialist music programs such as rock, country, folk and comedy, to information programs, sports and access programs for the print handicapped.

We rely on membership from community members, donations and sponsorship (advertising) from local businesses to assist with the running of the station. We are not a government funded body, but appreciate any grant funding to assist with purchasing new equipment. Many thanks to everyone who supported our Country Music Afternoon today that helped to raise over $1800 for OCR FM. It’s greatly appreciated, supporting us with the annual broadcasting licence fees, site rental, maintenance and utilities.
Thankyou to the performers Ian Bidge Boyd, Jenny Little, Warm Sands and Robyn Gleeson for sharing their music with an appreciative crowd, our raffle prize donators, the Colac RSL for their hospitality, Majella and Rosemary for all their coordination of the event and the OCR FM volunteers who assisted.
