SUNDAY TOO FAR AWAY | ENCORE PRESENTATION | Friday 25 July at 9pm on C44! Including a Q&A with star Jack Thompson AM and producer Matt Carroll, hosted by ABC Adelaide presenter Deb Tribe and recorded live by C44 Adelaide at the South Australian Film Corporation's Adelaide Studios.

This year marks the fiftieth anniversary of SUNDAY TOO FAR AWAY, the first feature film to come out of the South Australian Film Corporation (SAFC) in 1975! Coming just three years after the SAFC was established as the first screen agency in Australia, the critically acclaimed and multi award-winning film heralded an auspicious start for the screen industry in South Australia and nationally.

Directed by Ken Hannam, produced by Matt Carroll and the SAFC’s inaugural director Gil Brealey, and starring legendary actor Jack Thompson AM in one of the most iconic roles of his career, SUNDAY TOO FAR AWAY is one of the great Australian films of all time.

Catch a special presentation of the Q&A and SUNDAY TOO FAR AWAY on C44 Adelaide and C31 Melbourne on Saturday 19 July at 9.00pm, thanks to Umbrella Entertainment. For more iconic Australian films, visit Umbrella's streaming platform Brollie at www.brollie.com.au.
