Thanks for stopping by! We are the Richards family, Haydyn, Jess and our 3 beautiful kids Connor, Indi & Mackenzie. We live in our caravan full time and are travelling around our beautiful country exploring. But most importantly spending time together as a family making lifelong memories! We chose to do life this way, as we realise life is short and we only live once so why no

t live it properly!! The thing that scares us the most is growing old and grey and looking back to realise that we survived life, but we didn’t live our life. So here we are, living in the moment, present with our young kids, no daily stress’s, just taking life as it comes. “Livin the dream!” some may say! But we reckon, if you want something, just go after it and make it happen, because no ones going to make it happen for you! I adore my kids — truly, I do. I’d do anything for them, and I really treasure our family mealtimes, especially dinner.

But nothing makes my eye twitch faster than scraping their half-eaten meals into the food scraps bin… only to find them 15 minutes later, standing in front of the open fridge, like lost little scavengers, declaring they’re "starving to death."

So let me get this straight….finishing the actual dinner, that was just cooked for you with love was not an option? 🙄

Opportunities show up.

So many say they want change, growth, success — but when something real is in front of them? Suddenly it’s:
“I don’t have the time.”
“I’m too busy with kids.”
“I just need to wait for things to become less hectic.”

Here’s the truth: those excuses aren’t reasons — they’re shields. Shields to protect your comfort zone. Shields to justify staying stuck.

And I get it — life is real. Kids, work, stress, exhaustion. But hear this:

You shouldn’t be avoiding opportunity because of your kids — you should be chasing it for them.

You shouldn’t be backing away from growth because you’re busy — you should be stepping into it so you’re not always overwhelmed and maxed out.

The very things people use as excuses are the exact reasons they should be saying yes.

You want more time? You want options? You want your kids to see what’s possible? Then stop running from the discomfort of change.

Most people won’t admit it, but it’s not about time. It’s fear. Fear of failing. Fear of looking dumb. Fear of starting small.

But if you let fear write your story, don’t be surprised when the ending doesn’t look like the life you imagined.

Opportunity doesn’t show up when life is easy. It shows up when you need to decide what matters most — your comfort or your future.
