Many of you will know I have had a soft spot for the mighty Dragons since the Sixties, when they sent teams to Toowoomba to play end of season games against the Clydesdales. Geoff is a colleague and friend and we have worked together for over 30 years, most recently on the Immortal and Hall of Fame voting panels at the NRL. The two books are beautifully produced and each retail for $49.95 and are available "wherever good books are sold". I really enjoyed being a guest on the latest edition of Dr Tony Collins’ podcast, Rugby Reloaded, to chat about the history of the Dragons. Linked below.

In my view, Tony and David Middleton are rugby league’s pre-eminent historians. Tony’s books, such as Rugby League: A People’s History and The Oval World, are required reading. So I get very excited when he says on the podcast that ‘[Geoff] has produced one of the best histories of any sports club anywhere in the world’.
