There's a little café on the Peregian strip that has people driving from across the region for breakfast - and once you've been, you'll completely understand why.

Salty Mermaid is the kind of place built for people who genuinely love good food and the easy rhythm of a beach morning. Co-founders Lisa and Kelly have created a menu that is fresh, flavour-forward and just a little surprising - scratch-made granola, nourish bowls, banana bread French toast, and coffee that actually wakes you up.

The atmosphere is warm, the village views are gorgeous, and they're dog-friendly - which tells you everything you need to know.

There's something about sitting beside the Noosa River that makes everything better.

Noosa Boathouse has always been one of those Noosa institutions that feels like it belongs - and with two significant new additions, it's genuinely unmissable:

The grab-and-go ritual has become a sit-and-savour experience — new outdoor seating with front-row river views means the famous fish and chips now come with one of the best outlooks in the country.

Saltwater Studio - a brand-new private dining room and boardroom for up to 14 guests. Coastal luxe meets Euro-Summer, perfect for intimate celebrations or corporate events.

Dog-friendly. River views. Fish and chips. You already know you want to go.

The Korean beauty revolution has officially arrived in Noosa — and your skin is going to love it.

Chloe Regan Cosmetic Clinic is now offering the Korean Glow Facial by SKN Bar — one of the first clinics in Australia to introduce this treatment. Unlike traditional Western approaches that strip and resurface, Korean beauty is built around deep hydration, barrier nourishment, and a luminous 'glass skin' finish.

The treatment combines vibration technology, electro-infusion, LED therapy, lymphatic sculpting, and muscle stimulation — with no downtime or redness.

It's cold outside. Time to cook something extraordinary.

This winter, legendary Sunshine Coast chef Matt Golinski shares three of his favourite winter recipes with IN Noosa readers:

- Sticky Oxtail with Cumquats, Garlic and Chilli
- Sauerkraut, Smoked Bacon & White Bean Soup with Sourdough Croutons
- Tamarillo Clafoutis

These are the kind of dishes that fill the house with incredible smells, bring everyone to the table, and make you feel like a proper chef. The best part? They're not as hard as they sound.

Full recipes on page 44 of the Winter 2026 issue - or visit our website for a library of Matt's recipes from across the seasons.

There is no finer way to begin a winter evening than at

Locale Noosa is bringing back one of our favourite Italian traditions - the aperitivo hour - and doing it with the kind of warmth and style that makes Hastings Street feel like a laneway in Venice.

Every Thursday and Saturday from 4pm, the bar comes alive with Margaritas and Spritzes, beers and wines, and beautiful cicchetti to share. The centrepiece? A baked pumpkin and sweet potato gnocchi served as individual Cicchetti ramekins - a crowd pleaser reborn.

Head Chef Chris Hagan is also finalising the full winter menu featuring slow-cooked ragu and burrata with grilled figs and truffle-infused pasta. Italian winter in Noosa - no flights required.
