The road to Brisbane 2032 runs right through our backyard, and now’s the time for Coolum’s business community to have your say, get involved, and make the most of the opportunities ahead 🌟

Join us for the Eastell and Co. Ignite Breakfast, where we’ll dive into what the Olympic and Paralympic Games mean for our region and in particular, north of the bridge.

Our two key spekaers will give us insights into what's planned, how businesses might benefit from the opportunity and then explore how those opportunities might take shape. Together, we'll then discuss how the northern end of the Sunshine Coast can position itself to attract funding and opportunity in the lead-up to 2032.

With over 30 years in local government, Stacee plays a key role in delivering Council’s commitments for the Games. She brings deep experience in regional planning, stakeholder engagement, and community legacy.

✨ Mal Brough – Deputy Chair, Sunshine Coast 2032
A long-time Sunshine Coast local and former federal MP, Mal brings a wealth of experience across business, sport, and government. Passionate about creating real outcomes for our region, he’ll share insight into how local communities like Coolum can prepare and thrive in the lead-up to 2032.

We’re proud to have Story Dogs as the charity of choice for Indulgence! 🐶✨

Story Dogs is a national literacy program making a real difference in schools across Australia.

By pairing trained volunteer dogs with young readers, the program creates a supportive and non-judgmental environment where children can build confidence, improve their reading skills, and develop a lifelong love of reading 📚

The charity auction on the evening will raise funds for this excellent program!

What a night at Chamber Drive Night 2025! 🏁

An adrenaline-charged evening at Big Kart Track saw four Chambers go head-to-head in the ultimate showdown of speed, strategy, and pride.

Huge congratulations to the 2025 Champions – Sunshine Coast Young Chamber of Commerce! 🏆
They raced their way to the top and claimed the coveted perpetual trophy for the very first time.

What a night! What an outcome! 😱

The Sunshine Coast Young Chamber of Commerce and Coolum Business & Tourism both arrived last night searching for their maiden Chamber Drive Night win and heading into the final one thing was for certain, one of them was going to get it! 🤝

With all four competing Chambers represented in the semi-finals, the Young Chamber proved to be dominant with 3 drivers securing their spot in the grand final, plus one lone Coolum racer. Then came the wildcard draw which took the Young Chambers representation from 3 to 4.

Despite a valiant effort from Coolum's, Malcolm Chilman, the second row starting position proved costly for his chances at the podium and a win for Coolum Business & Tourism.

A big congratulations to the Sunshine Coast Young Chamber of Commerce who secured all three positions on the podium and the overall Drive Night trophy, reluctantly handed over by last year's champion Alister Eiseman, of Kawana Chamber of Commerce.
