For days, the Whitmer community prayed for 18-year-old Jaden Jones after his vehicle crashed into a barrier and tree. On Wednesday, those prayers turned into heartbreaking goodbyes when his family and school confirmed he had died from his injuries.

Paul Roberts, 63, started working for UPS when he was just 18. After 44 years of service, he was finally counting down the last 13 days until retirement — a milestone his family expected to celebrate with him.
But Paul never got that chance. He was struck by a vehicle near his workplace and did not survive. Even more heartbreaking, he had married his longtime partner of 37 years only six months earlier. 💔
His family was preparing for a new chapter. Instead, they are now saying goodbye.
