Bulldogs go back to back
Bullioh bagged its second successive premiership with a comprehensive 38-point win over Cudgewa in Saturday's grand final. In an unforgiving and sometimes spiteful match, the Dogs held a healthy margin during the first half and when it came to the 'premiership quarter' they piled on six goals to the Blues two to establish a winning break.
Bullioh 17.7 (109) d Cudgewa 11.5 (71)

In A Grade netball, Cudgewa made amends for its only loss for the season to Corryong in the 2nd semi with a commanding 22-goal victory after skipping away in the second half.

Football match ends early
The preliminary final between Cudgewa and Tumbarumba today was halted with 22 minutes to go in the last quarter when a Roos' player slumped to the ground while the ball was being returned to the centre after a Blues' goal.
The umpires stopped play while the unconscious player was attended by club medical staff but after an ambulance was called they called an end to the match.
The scores at that point of the game were declared the final result.
