It's been a busy week so far, and I have only just found time to get the latest issue online! Read through online, or drop into one of our amazing stockists and pick up a hard copy (there is now a stockists page on our website to make it easy).

The panic can end, Craig is back with his Fishy News after a couple of months of hectic work on the Tidal Festival, Jess from Backyard Botany has some stunning native plants to share and we welcome new contributor Zoe Wood from Movement Lab with a fascinating article connecting breathing and your pelvic floor - a must read for all women.

Fancy yourself a photographer? Reckon you get the "vibe" of Phillip Island? If so we are looking for you! This year we plan to print the Phillip Island Vibe calendar as a charity fundraiser and we are looking for photos (amateur or professional) of anything you think captures the overall VIBE of Phillip Island. It could be surf, wildlife, a meal, plantlife, whatever speaks to you.

We need 13 photographs (1 for the cover and 1 for each month) in a landscape format (wider than it is high) along with a paragraph about why this photo showcases the Vibe of the Island to you.

All photographers will be credited on their image and there will be an about the contributors page at the rear of the calendar as well.

Winning photographs will need to be able to be supplied as a high resolution jpeg (phone photos are fine!), all copyright will remain with the photographer and the images will only be used in the calendar, and to promote the calendar.

To enter please email your photo, your paragraph about the photo and your name and phone number to [email protected]

Further details will be available soon on which charity the calendar will be supporting, closing dates for submissions, announcement of winners, prizes and availability of the calendar for sale.

Spring has sprung and the new issue of the Vibe is available in store (all over the Island and San Remo) and online - (link in comments). Check out interviews with our Local Legend, Sam from Dead4eva Designs and Dead4eva Tattooing, amazing musician Mark Howard and talented artist Noel Watson. Backyard Botany talks native deciduous and evergreen trees, there's some history about the San Remo Hotel-Motel and so much more! As always your feedback is most welcome!!

What a stunning Sunday afternoon we've been given this week! I'm working away on the next issue and thought I'd give you an idea of what we have coming up - an interview with a local musician, another feature on a local legend who does some great things in the community, some stunning artworks from a couple of local artists, a bit of history on an iconic local venue - local, local, local!
