A quiet moment while setting up the shot today .

As Artist in residence for the month of July I’m exploring new ideas and indulging in a few creative whims.

If you’re interested to see what this new project entails, you can drop in to find out. It feels so new and fresh to me that I’m hesitant to show too much… I’m enjoying seeing how it emerges without expectation…

But if you drop in and say Hi you’ll get some of the vibe all the same…

The coffee is great and the pace is most laid back…

I’ll be there afternoons… Fri, Sat and Sun…

This is it! Last weekend to see the Ravenswood Art Prize in Sydney and to see my work ‘The Artist’s Way’ before it heads off to its new home.

If that home happens to be your home then I hope you love it! I know it’s a favourite work of mine…

If you do head to the show and feel inclined, you can drop a vote in the People’s Choice for it too 😉

If you love the work but didn’t get to see it, the piece is a limited edition and is available from my website if would like to own it for yourself.

The show is fabulous. There is lots of beautiful work to see by talented Australian Women Artists - so if you looking for something to do in Sydney this weekend… know you know!

Me and the gang working hard today as July Artists in Residence at the Henry Jones Art Hotel. We had lots of fun getting a feel for the new studio and working on our best angles!

I’ll be there after lunch over the weekend so if you’re in the area, drop by and say hello!

What’s going on indeed?

The month of July brings a new lens based project for me and I’m so happy to share that I get to explore it as the Artist in Residence Art Hotel.

You can see the beautiful space I get to work in and the very beginnings of staging the scene for a new and different body of work. It’s work I’ve been curious to develop for a while and this space is a serendipitous opportunity to try it.

Thank you to the Henry Jones for allowing me to work out of this perfect setting for the next month and I’m excited to see what evolves.

I’ll be working from the hotel at these set times;

🗓️ Friday, Saturday and Sundays

🕦 2-5pm.

However, I’ll also be working from the hotel outside of these times and I’ll post these times as they unfold.

That way, if you’re in the area, or feel the inclination, you can drop by and say hello… I’d love to see you! ✨🖤✨

Just a few from the other night at the Exhibition of Finalists .

More to come later plus a whole lot of Sydney exploration and good times with old friends.

Such a fabulous night and an incredible event - it was amazing to be a part of it. As a proud artist representing all the way from Tasmania’s Huon Valley!

Thank you so much Ravenswood for putting on such a great show. And congratulations to all the artists and winners!

I’m so happy to have met some of you, even if it was right at the last minute!

To the many I didn’t meet, there was so much to admire in each work and it was wonderful to see women in the arts celebrated and supported in such a way. The turnout sure was something!

My piece ‘The Artist’s Way’ sold on opening night, but if you love the work, it’s still available as a limited edition on my website.

Plus, you can visit the Ravenswood exhibition website to view the exhibition and purchase work.
