When you can’t sleep, do you endlessly scroll through old photos?

That was me last night.

I stumbled across this series from six years ago.
SIX YEARS AGO! How is that possible? So much has changed, and so much has stayed the same - mostly the clothes that Bretty is wearing.

That morning, I saw fog out the window, grabbed my camera, Bretty rolled his eyes and said “where are we going?” We all say he’s a good sport, and he is, but, how many people get to capture and document moments like these?

5:03am - that’s my daily alarm ⏰

I’ve been trying a new thing for a while now, and it’s working! That first 1.5-2hrs in the morning before Frankie and Patrick wake up are so productive!

It also means that once Frankie is up, I can be zoned in on getting her ready to tackle the day, and maybe play a bit of basketball before school. Then I get to go for a guilt free run or Pilates, instead of rushing back to the computer to get the mountains of work done.

At 10am I’m ready for coffee #2 ☕️

FLASH!!! Ahhhhh ahhhh ⚡️

I was just messing around with some flash photography at home the other day - it’s for a side project I’m working on with a buddy of mine - hopefully more on that soon.

I don’t use flash very often, and I wanted to try out some different styles that I dig.

These are some test shots I fired off after I set the tripod up, had the shutter going off every 5sec, and moved around our lounge room.

I kinda love them. They’re my kind of profile shot. Unplanned, goofball mode activated and just snap away.
I’m not even wearing my best white t-shirt!

Whatchoo think for a new profile shot? Photo 1 or 2?
