Congrats to Collingwood on finishing Minor Premiers and to Geelong and all the sides on a great season

After lengthy discussions with Collingwood and Geelong, the AFL has determined that no VFLW Grand Final will be played in 2021

Not the way anyone wanted it to end but unfortunately no alternative with the Victorian Football League (VFL) calling time on Season 2021

Congrats to Footscray on being crowned Minor Premiers and looking forward to hopefully still enjoying the GF

One final round next weekend if possible, straight to finals if not, match ratio to decide positions. Abbreviated finals plans if required

GF when footy allowed in Metro Melb and clubs have had sufficient prep time

Another lost round sees a new system come in to shape finals, VFLW decider still waiting to play out

Saturday from 11.30 its the Prelim between Essendon and Geelong to see who meets Collingwood in the Grand Final

Then Sunday from 1.30 it in form Coburg hosting 9th placed Williamstown in must win clash approaching the finals

VFLW Prelim and GF pushed back, will now be post draft on 27th, drafted players allowed/encouraged to play out season

Games resume in Queensland as solutions are sought to COVID disruptions

General bye for all teams in the Mens and plans being looked at to complete both the Prelim and GF in the womens comp
