When Two Tractors was barely more than an idea, Paul (aka Pablo) was pitching in with beautiful edits and animation. That he took a chance jumping to join a fledgling startup is something we’ll forever be grateful for. His playlists, his office entrances, his sneeze, his late night edits - all are iconic as is him.

Most surprising skill mastered while at Two Tractors? Amassing Collectibles on my desk. Ruining everone’s keyboard shortcuts. Rotoscoping.

Unofficial title: The All Rounder. Sgt Major Generalist. The Spotify Snob.

Best part of working at Two Tractors? The variety of jobs we have to take on. Sometimes we will switch over to 3D artist mode in order to sell a shot we’ve been cutting. Sometimes in the middle of an edit we’ll need to jump into after effects for a quick comp, to convince a director or client that a complicated sequence is going to work. I love the spontaneity and speed of that kind of calculated multitasking. And the people!

Fave Two Tractors snack: A cold Kit-Kat.

Friday lunch preference? Greek.

A made up job you’d be amazing at? Separating LEGO pieces by colour. Rewinding old VHS cassettes.

Office pet peeve? When a spotify playlist loops too many times.

You can ban one corporate buzzword or catch phrase. What is it? Buzzword. Or the phrase “Boil The Ocean”. Needs to be banned immediately.

What movie does your day often look like and why?

Sometimes the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Full of elves and wizards and cave trolls, the occasional Balrog.

Maybe Ron Howard’s The Paper.
A wonderful push and pull of all the chaos in the workplace. The laughs, cries, the agony & the ecstacy, the thrills & spills. Minus the being wrongfully accused of murder, of course.

Or Apollo 13.
Very smart people being very smart, doing their very smart jobs in whatever extreme situation arises. But with less explosions in the vacuum of space.

Okay, it’s like W***y Wonka & The Chocolate Factory.
So many wonderful & fantastic creative works, lots and lots of chocolate, and the occasional outburst of singing.

We love this one.

SEEK Pass is a clever innovation that gives job seekers a simple way to verify their identity and work credentials. It’s the kind of idea that benefits from elevated content, where the craft helps make something complex feel easy.

For this piece, the goal was to keep the animation clear, quick and full of personality. We spent a lot of time fine-tuning the rhythm, the visual language and the transitions so it feels effortless to watch, even though every moment is doing an important job.

We love our SEEK client partner and we love where this one landed.

Here we go. Time to meet someone who always brings the positivity to set. Her laugh can often be heard throughout the office and our CD, Tim Murray loves that she calls him Tim Murray. She loves an online shop (when a package arrives, not addressed to Andy, chances are it’s got her name on it). She’s our hiking, tennis playing, surfing, cycling, running and styling Head of Production, Sara.

When she’s not deciphering the vocal sound effects of Senior Art Director Mike Wilson, Kate is pumping out stunning animation and plotting to kidnap one or all of the office dogs (or is it dognap?) 🐶🐾
