A special thank you to our volunteers today who might have preferred to stay at home and watch the Socceroos but instead put on a perfect event for everyone to enjoy.

It was a morning of 2 halves at Cronulla as the front runners finished in beautiful sunshine while the back runners struggled to find the finish line after the pea soup rolled in over the Reserve and the temperature plummeted.

Young Jemima blitzed the field of 63 runners and walkers who had come from as far as Darwin to try out our beautiful course.

Our vollie legends did an awesome job as usual - thank you Hayley, Lou, Daniela, Jim, Steve, Peter, Michael and Dennis.

See you all same time same place next week.

A very special thank you to our volunteers who turned up earlier than most of our runners, got to stand around in the cold for an hour or so and head home only after all the other participants had left.
