🐝 Today is World Bee Day, and at our place we’ve got two very important residents - Queen Mary and Priscilla, Queen of the Desert - leading their busy hives.

Watching them at work is a great reminder of just how much these tiny workers do for us every day.

From pollinating our gardens to supporting farmers across Australia, bees play a vital role in putting food on our tables.

Around one in three mouthfuls of food we eat depends on pollination, and industries like almonds, avocados and macadamias rely heavily on bees to thrive.

Small creatures, big impact -and we’re lucky to have our own little queens keeping things buzzing.
