We are keen to have a blooming great Grand Central Floral Parade this year and bring back all the anticipation and floral filled excitement to the Toowoomba CBD!

Event Date:

Saturday 20 September 2025

9am – Freedom of Entry by 7th Signal Regiment

10am – Grand Central Floral Parade

Queensland Police have advised for safety reasons that we are required to have crowd barrier fencing along the full length of the Parade Route this year. Please see the attached road closure map showing the road closures which will be in place from 5am – 2pm (approximately).

Freedom of Entry:

This year, 7th Signal Regiment will be exercising their rights to March through the City of Toowoomba (Freedom of Entry Ceremony).

7th Signal Regiment will march along the Parade Route and exit onto Laurel Lane and then travel back to Cabarlah.

A little behind the scenes look at what the floor of the LEHP National Office often looks like! This is just a fraction of the amount of resources we send out every month to help spread our message that regular eye exams save sight!

Our resourses are available free of charge to Participating Lions Clubs - you can join us for a donation of just $4 per member, per year. This gives you access to our our suite of printed resources, training materials and children’s vision screening equipment, as well as helping us to keep the program running smoothly.

Meet Brodi and Charlotte

We stopped in at the Grand Old Crow Hotel at Crows Nest for lunch and were lucky enough to meet two bright locals making their mark.

Brodi Maag is starting out his career as a kitchen apprentice, learning the ropes and building his skills in the heart of the pub kitchen.

Charlotte Polzin has a love for animals and a big dream ahead, Charlotte hopes to one day become a vet.

It’s always inspiring to see our young people working hard and chasing their ambitions.
