BIG NEWS: Screen Australia backs our upcoming feature Bluebottle!

Screen Australia has announced their production investment support for our upcoming feature film Bluebottle, a thriller-comedy from the wild minds behind Birdeater, writer/director Jack Clark and director Jim Weir.

Set on the final night of Schoolies in a remote coastal town, Bluebottle follows three local dropouts who go head-to-head with three charming older men for the attention of three private school girls, diving deep into themes of class, consent and identity with grit, humour and heart.

We can’t wait to bring this sharp, fearless, and very fun film to life.

Last night our Amazon Original Documentary The Defenders had its World Premiere screening at the Sydney Film Festival and received a standing ovation!

The Defenders is an incredible, nail-biting, race-against-time thriller which tells the gripping true story of Hakeem al-Araibi, a Bahraini footballer turned political refugee.

The Feature Documentary will be available on Prime Video in Australia and New Zealand on June 23.

Attendees included:
Director Matthew Bate, cast Craig Foster and Hakeem al-Araibi, producers Alice Burgin and Gal Greenspan and SFF Head of Programs Jenny Neighbour.
