I MCd an event on Thursday that I wouldn’t have ever gone to otherwise. It’s one of the reasons I love doing this so much.

The CSIRO Darwin Living Lab Symposium should have had thousands of people attending. I learnt so much about keeping our city cool, our people cool and just how important it is to make our city livable when it’s only getting hotter.

Did you know standing under the Cullen Bay shade structure is almost 5 degrees cooler than in the sun next to it? Did you know just how much pregnant women suffer in the heat (it’s a lot) and what really happens when you have heat stroke? A key takeaway? No matter your climate, plant trees 🌴 they’re the best.

I had way too much fun today delivering media training at Minerals Council of Australia NT Division ahead of NT Resources Week.

The session focused on learning the bare basics of the media, formulating a statement and some key messages, and then practicing how to deliver that message with confidence and clarity.

No matter in front of a press pack, panel, speech delivery or Q&A opportunity, my training will help you understand how to communicate in any situation 🗣️

The opportunities in North Australia are phenomenal, and sometimes we have to evolve to keep up.
