After having a few private vehicle sellers hang up the phone on me when I ask if they speak english, someone actually rang me back this morning, and I've test-driven the vehicle already!

My Ukranian girlfriend said I should be getting her to call, but if I can't do anything for myself, then I shouldn't even be here!

Felt slightly shady meeting the two fellas up the back of a shopping centre carpark, but the van drove really well, and I wasn't kidnapped!

There is plenty of room to tie someone up in the back though, because I wanted the option to seat people or fit a lot of boxes in there.

The VIN/rego checks came back spotless, and I couldn't fault anything with the van myself.

Just the technical inspection to go. $7K USD is the asking price.

For tasks near the front, I will have dashcams and GoPro's running; obviously Ukranian military will be redacted from the video; but if a Russian FPV, mortar or 155mm shell has a go at us, I promise you'll get it in full 60fps at 4K.

We're halfway to $5k in just three days fundraising for a cheap mini-van in Ukraine, so I can evacuate villagers out in danger of advancing Russian forces, and deliver aid, as a volunteer.

To move about the conflict zone I'll be partnering with a volunteer organisation that needs drivers with their own cars. I'm advised you're never sent on a task without a co-driver.

I'm posting this evening asking for your help to fundraise $5,000 AUD for a second hand mini-van, to evacuate Ukrainian villagers and deliver aid to those refusing to leave, in the face of advancing Russian forces.

I went and saw a few mini-vans this morning, and unfortunately one was missing VIN numbers so I couldn't do a documents check, and the other had a flat battery so I need to return tomorrow when it's all charged up.

It's back on again with my Ukrainian girlfriend, and she's found a few private sellers with high kilometres for me to test drive, so it's all hands on deck.

I'll be partnering with a volunteer organisation that needs drivers with their own cars. I'm advised you're never sent on a task without a co-driver.

A second angle of a man being confronted on a Darwin bus after a schoolgirl accused him of filming her.

The incident has been reported to police by another passenger inboxed earlier today.

Witnesses have contacted The Mango Inquirer about a man allegedly threatening to kill everyone on the number 9 bus in Darwin, after a schoolgirl accused him of filming her.

One of the witnesses has reported to police: "I was sitting with my five-year-old son on the bus when a young girl in a high school shirt, brown hair, began screaming to be left alone and 'stop filming me'.

"I intervened and noticed a large white male, short hair, dark top, leaning over towards her.

"I asked what was going on and he said 'f*ck off I can film who I want, get off the bus or I'll kill you all' whilst spitting in my face and began rummaging through his pockets.

"I reasonably assumed he was reaching for a weapon to follow through with his threat so I struck him with a closed hand and attempted to restrain him.

"When the man surrendered I then backed off for my own safety and asked the bus driver to call police.

"I then recorded the man who gave his name and admitted to filming the girl.

"He then proceeded to threaten myself and other travellers so I left the bus in order to protect my son from harm and trauma.

"I checked to make sure the driver was okay before leaving. I then went home from Berrimah"

Not all heroes wear capes or travel to Ukraine.
