IPART has approved a rate rise for Northern Beaches Council - ratepayers will be slugged with a 25% increase if Council approves at their June meeting. The silver lining is that IPART thought the near 40% rate rise would hurt the community too much.

The Northern Beaches is beset by Teal and Teal-adjacent politicians on all sides - this rate rise is only the beginning of the trouble for families living on the beaches.

The Libertarian Party opposes all Council rate rises, especially from those who use the ratepayer as a never ending purse.
