The ZOO policy is that we remember without the wonderful people of the Central West we wouldn't have jobs. We have been here since 1997 and continue to bring the local community live and local entertainment more often than

any other commercial radio station in the area.

927 ZOOFM considers itself a part of the fabric knot and is only here to reflect what people want and what they may want in the future. Every day our job is to make your life a little more enjoyable.

UPDATE:
At this stage the Carols will go ahead.
They will be cancelled if an electrical storm threatens.
Keep in touch with 2DU and local facebook groups for any changes.

As part of the National Day of Reflection about the dreadful attack at Bondi last Sunday, there will be an announcement and a minute's silence tonight at the Community Carols by Candlelight.

Candles are an essential part of Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights and will be part of the event tonight when everyone can reflect together.

A Total Fire Ban is in place today, Sunday 21 December 2025, for the Greater Hunter, Central Ranges, North Western, Upper Central West Plains and Lower Central West Plains areas, with forecasts of high and extreme fire danger and hot and windy weather.

It's important you know your fire risk whether at home or if travelling and what you'll do if fire threatens. Take the time to discuss what you and your household will do. Report all unattended fires to Triple Zero (000).
