Westpac's push to reclaim lost ground in the rural banking market has extended to trialling a mobile banking service in three NSW towns, widespread branch upgrades, and extra community sponsorship help.
The new face-to-face new Community Banking Service pilot program will begin in Dungog, Bulahdelah and Manilla in northern NSW early next year where branches have closed in the past decade.

One of Singleton's iconic homes, Minimbah House at Whittingham, has been sold for an undisclosed price to buyer's agent Jack Henderson.

Mr Henderson, the founder of Henderson Advocacy, is in his late 20s and is reported to own a property portfolio worth $35 million.

On Mr Henderson's social media he said the home would be used as a luxury wedding venue.
