Vale Jason Luttrell
Last week, we lost one of the true originals of the Australian mini-truck scene.
Jase wasn't just a fabricator and builder—he was a pioneer whose passion, talent and vision helped shape an entire generation of custom vehicles in Australia.
From humble beginnings, working out of a carport in Western Sydney in the early 2000s, Jase built Living Low Customs into one of the country's most respected mini-truck and custom workshops. The craftsmanship and attention to detail of the team at LLC set a standard that many admired and aspired to.
The early Living Low Customs builds became legends in their own right. Projects like the Landbruiser, Norm's MU, Big Vs Effie, and Twiggz' Navara pushed the limits of what was possible and inspired countless enthusiasts across the country.
Jase proudly took the Landbruiser around Australia, showcasing not only his own work but the creativity and innovation of the Australian custom scene. From Autosalon in Western Australia and Adelaide to Island Fever in Tasmania, his builds turned heads, won respect, and left a lasting impression wherever they went.
His legacy isn't measured only by the incredible vehicles he created, but by the people he inspired, the friendships he forged, and the mark he left on the community he loved.
Rest easy, Jase. Thank you for everything you gave to the scene. You will be remembered, your work will continue to inspire, and your legacy will live on through every custom build that follows.
The whole team at Inspired Existence send our love to Jason's family, friends and club Ground Level. It is an honour to have called you a friend.
