🎶 Calling All Choir Leaders! 🎶
The School of Psychology, University of Queensland, Australia, is conducting international research on the professional practices of group singing facilitators, with a focus on the mental health and wellbeing of your group members. Your insights will help the researchers understand the factors that contribute to a positive and supportive environment in group singing, and explore interest in training opportunities for facilitators in mental health and wellbeing.
⏳ The survey takes 10-20 minutes and is open to leaders of any kind of singing group from anywhere in the world.

🌍 Singing in the Delegate Choir where you'll meet singers from around the country, led by international clinicians Catherine Fender and Gints Ceplenieks, and performing in the Finale Concert!

🎤 Singing in the massed youth or community choirs, with outstanding national conductors including Dr Elizabeth Scott.

🎼 Access to up to three keynote addresses, practical workshops, paper presentations, masterclass, panel discussions, covering a very broad offering of material from sacred, classical and contemporary styles, to composition and repertoire, singing technique, and vocal health.

How do I get to Choralfest?

For those who haven't been there before, Geelong is a vibrant, attractive regional city about 1 hour southwest of Melbourne 🌅 It’s the gateway to the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula!

✈️ Avalon Airport is 26km from the Geelong City Centre with uber and taxi transfers
🚌 From Melbourne Airport take the Gull Bus with 18 hourly services daily
🚆 From Melbourne drive, train or bus an hour or so or take the Port Phillip Ferry
⛴️ From the Mornington Peninsula (Sorrento) take a Searoad Ferry
