Well done guys 🥳🥰
For the first time in over five decades, Edenhope Golf Club has claimed victory in the long-running Three-Way Challenge, an interclub event dating back to around 1972.
The competition, which brings together teams from Edenhope, Casterton and Penola, was held yesterday with 25 players across the three clubs. In a thrilling upset, Edenhope outperformed the reigning champions Penola, who had held the title since 2018.
Captain Dave Whisker praised his team for their efforts. “It was a well-deserved win and a great day out,” he said. “The boys are more than happy with the score.”
The win marks a historic milestone for Edenhope, whose players celebrated not just the trophy, but the end of a 50-year wait.
