Hey look out! I’m featured in the Griffith Review this week. Written by Ruby Ingra 2025 black&write! Editor Intern. The thing about Ruby is that I use to sleep on her parents couch when I started out as a filmmaker. Full of ambition and an empty wallet, I use to travel to attend workshops and forums to learn more about filmmaking, and in those times when I needed somewhere to stay, Ruby’s parents were there for me. Today marks another takeoff point in the flight of the MMOA. We're taking the opportunity to share the MMOA's first promotional video on social media.

In this video, attendees of an exhibition earlier this year offer their interpretation of Gil Jamieson's work, The Flying Dutchman.

The filming, production and concept were expertly managed by EJ Garrett and Burnett River Media, with funding provided by a generous grant from Queensland Gives/Queensland Community Fund.

Three years ago I relocated the business to Eidsvold. It was a tough decision and I left a lot behind, and there were plenty of challenges along the way. But I think it's going ok.
