🌏 One year ago in Bali, I had no idea just how much that trip would change me.

I came home with more than memories.. I came home with clarity, courage, and a deeper sense of who I am.

It wasn’t just about the retreat itself, but about the decision to invest in myself, to step into a space where I could grow, and to finally believe that I deserved more. 🌱

If I could go back and tell that version of me anything, it would be: “Keep saying yes, even when it’s scary. The life you’re craving is waiting for you.” 💫

A year ago in Bali, I sat in deep conversation with people who just got it! The struggles, the dreams, the craving for more freedom.

Those connections became friendships, and those friendships became my support network. 🌺

There’s something so simple yet magical about making things from scratch…

Today’s trio: homemade gluten-free bread, churned butter and a batch of jam 🥖🧈🫐

The smell of fresh bread, the creaminess of real butter, and the sweetness of jam made from scratch.. it’s the little joys like this that make slowing down and being intentional so worth it.

Living a low-tox lifestyle has opened the door to so many small swaps that feel big in how they nourish us. And honestly… nothing beats the pride of saying, “yep, I made this myself.”

I remember thinking… “Is this really part of business?” 🏝️

That retreat taught me that building a business doesn’t have to mean hustle 24/7. It can mean creating a lifestyle.. one with balance, adventure, connection, and joy. 🌿

I was in Bali, standing barefoot under the sun at a silent disco + breathwork session… feeling a mix of nerves, excitement, and curiosity. 🌙✨

That morning wasn’t just about dancing.. it was about letting go of old fears and opening myself up to a new way of living. Looking back, I realise that was the exact moment I started trusting the unknown and choosing adventure over comfort. 🌱

Sometimes growth doesn’t come from the big, serious moments… but from the ones where you just let yourself be free. 💃🌿

I remember holding this passport and boarding pass with shaky hands! Wondering if I belonged, if I was ready, if I’d made the right choice.

One year ago, I boarded a flight to Bali not knowing what was ahead.

What I found was more than just a retreat. It was courage, community, clarity… and the spark that lit a fire in me for the life I truly wanted. 🌱💫

It taught me that you don’t always need to feel ready. You just need to say yes and figure it out along the way.

Funny how a simple boarding pass can look like just a ticket… but really be the beginning of a whole new story. ✨

Going back to FIFO after maternity leave hit me harder than I expected.

Physically, emotionally… and financially.
Reduced income + rising costs = pressure I didn’t want to carry into motherhood.

Then I came across something that made me pause.
A friend shared this water-based business and, honestly, I was skeptical at first.
But when I looked deeper — saw the compensation plan, heard the stories —
I thought… why not me?

So I said yes. Not because I had it all figured out,
but because I knew I needed something to change.

Now I’m growing.
I’m learning.
And I’m genuinely excited about what I’m building — not just for me, but for my family.

That “why not” moment turned into a full-body YES I didn’t see coming.

✨ I didn’t expect this… but I’m so glad I said yes.

I came into this with a whole lot of doubt.
I’d tried other side hustles before — none of them stuck, and honestly, I was starting to feel a bit burnt out on the idea.

But something about this felt different.
I saw potential. Not just financially, but for something more. For myself. For my family.

What I didn’t expect was how much personal growth would come with it.

Since saying yes, I’ve been stretched in the best ways.
My mindset’s shifted.
I’m more aware of my thoughts, the way I speak to myself and others... and for the first time in a long time, I feel like I actually understand myself.

The biggest turning point?
A retreat where I had some really honest, open conversations — the kind that make you reflect on what you deserve, what you’re capable of, and what you’re actually meant for.

And that changed everything.

So if you’re standing on the sidelines right now — doubting, wondering if this could work for you — here’s what I’ll say:

I’ve lived by a motto I heard as a young girl on a family holiday:
👉 “You’ll never, never know… if you never, never go.”

Take the chance.
You might just discover a version of yourself you didn’t know was waiting.

Today we celebrate you – the ones who love fiercely ❤️, give selflessly 🤲, and show up even on the hardest days. Whether you’re raising little ones 👶, remembering your own mum 🕊️, or navigating the beautiful chaos of motherhood 👩‍👧‍👦, this day is for you.

I’m so grateful for the journey of being a mum 🌸. It’s cracked me open, helped me grow in ways I never imagined ✨, and shown me just how strong love can be.

To the mums doing night shifts 🌙, the solo parents 💪, the nurturers 🌻, the grandmas 👵, and the mums-to-be 🤰… you’re incredible. Your love shapes lives, your strength inspires others, and your presence makes the world a better place 🌍.
