25 years or quarter of a century... No matter the way you look at it, a magical milestone for so many.

Sadly, for young Dylan Dickie it is a milestone forever beyond reach.

A cheeky grin shines out from photos, the mischief in bright blue eyes glow brightly, with dimples in his cheeks to frame a smile that glistens across his face....

This is Dylan Dickie, a much loved son, brother, grandson, friend.... And today is Dylan's 25th birthday.

The Dickie family had their whole world turned upside down when Dylan went missing, as just 10 days prior, Dylan's grandfather had also disappeared, leaving the family in a contant state of unknown...

Do you have ANY information which may assist police and Dylan's family to bring him and his grandfather home?

19 year old Dylan Dickie was last seen on Thursday 23rd June 2016 as he rode off on his Yamaha bike, leaving his home in Cessnock New South Wales.

On the 3rd July, Dylan's motor bike, helmet and gloves were found in the Watagans state forest, Corrabare NSW, but there was no evidence in the area to explain what may have happened to Dylan or where he may have gone.

The bike number plate had been ripped off and has not been found. Dylan's house keys were not found either, even after extensive searches were done in the bushland by the SES.

Dylan has not been seen nor heard from since this date and there are concerns for his safety and welfare as it is uncharacteristic for him to not keep in contact with his family. Police and family do not believe the two cases of Dylan and his grandfather are linked.

At the time of his disappearance, Dylan was described as standing 170cm tall with a slim build, fair complexion, blonde hair and blue eyes. Dylan would now be aged 25 years old.

Please come forward with any information you may have. Even the simplest detail could help end the family's pain.

Good afternoon everyone, I am writing to those that may have some answers to Dylan's disappearance.

Thursday/Friday is the Coroner's Court and I would like to find anything at all that you may know.

We know that Dylan did not just vanish and are questioning his disappearance.

I rely on people to come forward and contact me and as much as it can seem hard at times to make the first move you will find the moment you speak to me you will be very comfortable. This is a great time to come forward if you had seen Dylan on the day of his disappearance the 23rd of June 2016 or know any information about any enemies he may have had in the past.

Can everyone please share this post so we can hopefully get the attention of anyone that can help.

Please remember that the coroners court is on the 5th of August and I want to gain as much additional information as I possibly can before this date.

I am happy to drive and meet you at a private location for any information that can help find out what happened to Dylan on the day of his disappeared.

Dylan went missing on the 23rd of June 2016 just after 1pm from what I have gathered.

If you have heard anything on the grape vine, sinister or not please contact me and I assure you, you will remain anonymous.

Dylan Dickie - Missing from his family since 23rd June 2016

1,826 days and counting since Dylan disappeared...
260 weeks and counting since Dylan's family started this nightmare journey...
60 months and counting since Dylan's family have waited and hoped for answers to bring him home...
5 incredibly long and heartbreaking years, filled with heartache, anguish, frustration, anger and emotional turmoil at not knowing what happened to their beloved son, brother, grandson, friend...

Police have performed extensive investigations and along with Dylan's family, do not believe the two cases of Dylan and his grandfather are linked.

A Coronial Inquest has been granted and the Directions Hearing has been set down to appear before the Magistrate, on the morning of 5th August 2021. We will keep our page updated on further information as it appears.

As the coroners hearing is coming up in the next couple of weeks, I would like to ask if anyone has any further information they can provide about Dylan.

Your details will remain 100% confidential as I have no obligation to inform the police where my source of information has come from. I am this morning asking for everyone to share Dylan’s page especially if you are in or around the Newcastle, Cessnock area.

I am trying to gather as much information as I can in relation to Dylan’s questionable disappearance.

Good evening everyone, we are still looking for anyone who may have any information in relation to Dylan’s disappearance.

Unfortunately their are still many questions to be answered.

If you knew Dylan I would like to hear from you. I am not part of the police force and therefore I am not obliged to hand over any of your details or information.

I am also not a judgemental person, I do not mind where you are in life or what position you are in. In my line of work I speak to everyone with no judgment. Everyone is just as important as the next person to me.

Please do not be concerned about calling or messaging me. I am very easy going and I have lots of people call me for various cases so please be very comfortable in doing so.

You can remain anonymous and call me from a pay phone as this will ensure not even I know who you are.

Dylan was a lovely fella who always wanted to make others feel good about themselves and I want to know more about who he was as a person to friends or acquaintances.
