Do you have a Starlink dish that has been sitting idle for over 21 Months? You have until the 17th November to pull it out and update the software. Unfortunately if it is not done it will Brick your dish and it will become unusable.
To update the dish it is just a matter of setting it up outside and letting it do its own thing for about 15 to 20 mins. You do not need an up to date subscription to do this.
Starlink automatically updates the software on its dishes, and there’s no option to disable that feature. That means this deadline will only apply to Starlink users who canceled or paused their service, but still have the dish. Starlink did not clarify whether this applies to Mini kits, but we think it’s safe to assume that it does.

Hey Everyone,
Channel 7 has been had some issues for some areas in the Central Highlands.
They're restacking the way the stream transmits out so they can have more MPEG4 channels. If you have a really old TV (10yrs) this may mean you lose some Ch 7 sub channels. Mpeg4 allows them to fit more channels on the band width they pay for.
If you are still struggling by Wednesday, contact us or your local TV repair tech.
It's been hit and miss, some TV's have self-resolved, others have needed a retune. Some still haven't come back.
If your TV has never watched the Vic horse racing channel or SBS cooking channel it may not be able to watch Mpeg4.
In some cases, a set top box may be a cheaper solution, than a new TV.

Hi Emerald, there seems to be a problem with our local Channel 9. So don't stress it is not your antenna. They are aware of the issue and are working on it.
