I am delighted to share with you all that I have been engaged as the Sales and Marketing Manager for The Speakeasy Group with a focus on The Sanderson and Eau de Vie Sydney.

When I first arrived at The Sanderson, I was immediately reminded of my dads favourite Bistro in Dublin, a restaurant that offers warmth and approachable luxury in every detail, from the cosy stylish decor, excellent service from the employees to the decadence and personalisation of their menus created by Head Chef James Green. And of course, let's not forget an extensive and carefully curated wine list, a vast selection of single malt whiskeys, and you know it….. the perfect pint of Guinness on tap!

Then I ventured down the lift to Eau-De-Vie Sydney (you may have visited the original Darlinghurst venue) where I was greeted by an intimate, dimly lit, jazz infused speakeasy created for the discerning bon vivant. With their amicable hosts and expert team of bartenders I was transported back to a much forgotten era where great service, cocktails, tommy guns and good times were king.
And yes, I absolutely love the enormous back bar that takes centerstage and the wonderfully talented Eau-de-Vie bartenders who shake, stir, flame and throw iconic Eau-de-Vie creations like the Smokey Rob Roy, Espresso Zabaione and Yuzu Mule along with an extensive list of new libations.

So next time you are in the CBD, come and say hi! With 40 cocktails to choose from, a Whiskey Room with a large collection of rare and exclusive whiskies, (you can even have your own Bottle Locker) what better way to celebrate life and the finer things.

And I would like to finish by saying it's time to ‘Bring back the Long Lunch’ and signature cocktails followed by rare whiskies late into night!!
