Set in a near-future Melbourne where people can upload their consciousness into digital bodies, it’s a deeply human story about love, identity, and what we risk when we leave our old selves behind.
The project has just been announced as a recipient of Screen Australia development funding — and we couldn’t be more excited to bring this visionary tale to life.

Travis Fimmel (Vikings, Dune: Prophecy) will make his directorial debut in the final episode of Black Snow‘s second season.

Fimmel will direct the sixth and final episode of Season 2 of Sundance Now and Australian streamer Stan’s mystery-drama, which is set in Australia’s northern Queensland and follows the actor as cold case detective James Cormack.

Travis Fimmel (Vikings, Dune: Prophecy) will make his directorial debut in the final episode of Black Snow's second season. Watch the trailer here.

The score for The New Gold Mountain, composed by our very own Caitlyn Yeo, is the only work by a female Australian composer being showcased alongside the music of legendary figures such as John Williams, Hans Zimmer, and Hisaishi, among others..
