I’ve heard it said, ‘how do you know when you’re on the right path? Because it disappears in front of you.’
Something like that!

I once saw a social media post hearing Stephen Fry say: (and don't think I haven't tried to memorize it)

"If you want to be a grocer, or a general, or a politician, or a judge; You will invariably become it. That is your punishment.
If you never know what you want to be, if you live what some might call the dynamic life, that I would call the artistic life...if each day you are unsure of who you are and what you know, you will never become anything.
And that is your reward."

That tore my heart out.

Because once you become something, you're expected to stay something. Fixed. Defined. Done.

But artists? We don’t live that way.

We don't wake with clarity, but with questions.
We don’t repeat. We unravel.

No five-year plan. No final version. Just the constant risk of becoming something new. Or nothing at all.

In a world obsessed with arrival and titles, maybe the real artists are the ones who keep moving.

If you feel like a fraud today and a genius yesterday, then congratulations.
You’re on the path.

And that? That’s the reward.

Ideas are birthed and much of the foundation is laid in the Production Suite. When inspiration strikes we record it and often these remain crucial to the finished recording.

All the valves working means the room can get nice and cozy too!

We’re air conditioned but who cares, as long as the amps are cranked and the songs are killer, right?!
