The Cordoba Mini O is such a sweet instrument to take camping.
There’s a family of Tawny Frogmouth’s living above my campsite. They’re almost an owl but not quite. But they feed at night and are very cute. ❌🦉
NB: Weird face pulling and hairy legs are free of charge.

But can I hear the amp from inside the studio?

My DIY amp room (ISO Booth) under the stairs. Actually more effective than I expected.

Really happy with how this VR2 performed on acoustic guitar today. We tried it on guide vox too and it was actually quite pretty. I’m keen to hear it through the ISA One to see how it reacts to the different impedance options.
Maybe I’ll pair it with an SM57 and see if I can’t get some classic electric guitar sounds.

Thanks I’ve been wanting to try a Freqout for years!
Who’s ready to freak out?

Turns out my humble little bass board is also handy when running an acoustic guitar into an amp. The Colourbox is a versatile little unit. Almost a necessity for me in this situation.

Changing things up a bit. The amps are now more accessible which is WAY better.
I do see an amp shaped gap though. 😝
What do you think? Is it time for a Princeton or perhaps a Deluxe Reverb? Or something completely different?

For venues and bands IRL engagement is crucial. It’s everything. Social Media engagement is a start, but if that’s where your support ends, then it’s over.

I was unfairly labeled a ‘motormouth’ as a kid. Aunties and uncles and friends of my parents would say it to my face. Regularly. This new podcast arguably proves them all correct. 😝

The messy corner.
And yes, the classical guitar has a pickguard. 😆
The guitar is from the 1980’s and mum must have been quite the strummer :)

Ideas are birthed and much of the foundation is laid in the Production Suite. When inspiration strikes we record it and often these remain crucial to the finished recording.
All the valves working means the room can get nice and cozy too!
We’re air conditioned but who cares, as long as the amps are cranked and the songs are killer, right?!
This is the new pedal board build. Not so impressive yet, but this thing will still run wet/dry rigs and it already has some great sounding boxes on there.
The Pettyjohn CHIME pedal is truly incredible. I love pedals.
