Calling all local Musicians and Poets!
Starting next Wednesday morning we’ll be hosting a Monthly Open-Mic on our courtyard stage! Hosted by the very talented troubadour .
Get in early and RSVP your spot online . We have 18 songs to fill, each artist can rsvp 1-3 songs or poems.
It’s called the Troubadours as dating back to the Middle Ages that’s what lyrical poets were known as.
The Troubadours is a welcoming morning open mic for emerging singer-songwriters and poets to share original work in a relaxed, supportive setting. It’s a refreshing alternative to late-night gigs—an inspiring space to be heard without the noise. Whether you’re stepping up for the first time or road-testing new material, Troubadours fosters creativity, connection, and community. With a focus on storytelling, honesty, and heart, it’s the perfect place to grow your voice, meet like-minded artists, and ease into performing with confidence. Come as you are—coffee in hand, words ready—and be part of a morning gathering that celebrates authentic expression.
Solo and Duo perforamnce accepted.
A Microphone and acoustic guitar will be provided along with a twin channel acoustic amp.
BYO instruments and amp if preferred. Though with short change over time minimalism is encouraged.

Tonight Shane from .barrel will be taking over our bar! His incredible range of organic beer; wildly brewed, barrelled and bottled in Ridgewood will be pouring by the glass. Accompanied by the delicious cuisines of and the tunes of the night will be magick!
Come one, come all. If you’re in town tonight and have nothing planned fill your glass with the finest beer, enjoy great food and live music. Shane will also be running us through his different brewing methods, his range of beers and why they taste so great!

BURNING STARS

Eumundi Coffee Roasters (ECR) presents BURNING STARS! Our 1st show of the year, with somewhat local (at some point in time) Musicians Mou & Milo Hunter!
These guys are unreal to say the least! A dream come true show for us here at ECR, with both artists getting a lot of play in our coffee shop dark hour (6:30-7:30am). The theme ‘Burning Stars’ was conceptualized on the thought of each of these artists persevering in the ever-changing tides of the Australian Music Industry.
Describing their sound is hard, I could copy/paste a bio but feel it under-rated. Expect modern musicianship at its highest level, encompassed in artistically dynamic, layered, electric sounds paired with high resonating vocals that somehow provoke a melancholy feel. Indie, Low-Fi, Alternative, Pop... it’s too hard to pin-point. If you haven’t heard them, give them a listen on Spotify, then imagine hearing the songs beneath the stars on a magical Saturday night in Feb upon the stage in our intimate Courtyard space.

It’s with sincerest apologies to our afternoon coffee drinkers that as of next week we will be closing at 2pm rather than 4pm during the week for the duration of the streetscape works taking place down our end of town.
With parking availability on the northern end of Memorial Drive significantly reduced we have seen a consistent lull in our afternoon trade over the past two weeks. Therefore we have decided to close early. If you are in need and coming by between 2-3pm whilst we are cleaning up, we often have batch brew available free of charge and we’ll be happy to pour you a cup.
As the streetscape works are important to the towns development we look forward to the hopefully speedy completion over the new year in which time we will return to our normal trading hours (closing at 4pm Mon-Fri).
As the lull has also been evident throughout the morning we have had to make cuts to our dear staff’s rostered shifts. That being said on our slower days during the week we will be running just two staff rather than three which may increase wait times in busy periods. So if you are in rush download the to place your order ahead of time!Our staff are incredible though and as always we will strive to make your experience excellent!.
If you are looking for parking the top car park near the amphitheater is now open 6am-6pm daily as well as the street parking behind Dick Caplick Park on Napier Road which is a short, nice walk to our front door. This is a beautiful community, one we strive to accommodate, support and give back too and I’m sure as always we will adapt and move through this time together as best we can. Shout out to all the other amazing artisan businesses of Eumundi experiencing the same challenges, support them when you can too, it means a lot to all of us!

It’s with admiration that we welcome you to the Final Session of ‘Know Your Onion’...

This is a get-together for Men of all ages and walks of life. A welcoming space where men can take a break, reflect, connect and grow through the teachings of local experts, storytellers and engagement with others. With the help of local Matre’d and MC Brad McDonald (ATG health), we will host a night like no other! With donation dinner options (inc. vegan) and drinks available for purchase you can comfortably immerse yourself in the nights magick.

Our sixth get-together we are focusing on S*x and Intimacy. Gracing our stage will be local Father, S*xuality Educator, S*xologist and S*x coach Cam Fraser
Cam Fraser is a senior sexuality educator at inyourskin®. Cameron is the current Deputy Chair of the Society of Australian S*xologists. He received his Graduate Diploma in S*xology from the School of Population Health, Curtin University. With expertise in the areas of positive masculinity and healthy male sexuality, Cameron has over 5000 hours of clinical experience as a counsellor.
In 2010, Cameron was honoured by Lifeline WA with a community leadership award for championing the cause of mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Our story teller for the evening is Alec Conway.
Alec’s dynamic personality is sure to bring a unique and engaging story to the nights theme; ‘S*x & Intimacy’. From a young age Alec was involved in intimate relationships.
Alec’s drive for truth and understanding in his life alongside his views of the modern world has led to a tale filled with boundary pushing, courage and action, as well as some downright foolishness. His own style of humour with a ‘matter of fact’ tone will likely ruffle some feathers as he traverses the vast landscape of emotions present in his story.

Know Your Onion is simply about creating a supportive space for Men in our community. This is not a program designed to answer questions, it’s not a therapy session or a fun night out with the boys... This is a unique community project rooted in rich, organic soil and how it will grow and what we learn from it is a mystery.

Ancestral ways with locals and Thomas Campbell!
Bobby is a student of both plant medicines and indigenous ceremonies of the Americas, a Sundancer, veteran, and father.

In 2014, he co-founded the first plant medicine retreat center in Colombia - the Eagle Condor Alliance. Working directly with indigenous healers and offering life-changing healing to over 700 clients through intensive 10-day retreats. Through this work, Bobby played a key role in the liberation of over 40 hectares of pristine jungle in the Colombian Putumayo jungle and another 28 hectares in the Antioquian Andes where, in 2020, he led a small team in the construction of a new retreat center in extremely challenging conditions.

Spending over ten years living in Colombia, Bobby was also responsible for the continued support of indigenous elders and the welfare of his local community and intensive study with plant medicines and elders from both North and South America, including vision quests and Sundance ceremonies.

Specialising in plant medicine integration, Bobby acts as a bridge between two worlds, supporting and mentoring people in their healing processes. He is also passionate about supporting veterans in the use of healing plant medicines. Bobby is the lead integration coach and advisor for Heroic Hearts Project - Australia.

Bobby is also a podcast host with The Way Of Life podcast on Substack - interviewing and spreading the knowledge and wisdom of indigenous elders. He continues to sit in ceremony and study with and listen to his elders. He is married with three children and divides his time between Australia and Colombia.
