We’re starting 2026 with positive energy! 🌕

Much loved ARIA award-winner is bringing his new project to headline our next show, supported by , , and the beat master DJ ROLPLAY on our outdoor stage.

THE COSMICS
The Cosmics are a precision funk trio built on rhythm, restraint, and raw transmission. Comprised of Nicky Bomba, Aaron Saxon, and Michael Caruana, the band draws deep influence from the disciplined funk traditions of James Brown, The JBs, The Meters, The Bar-Kays, and the forward-thinking Afrofuturism of Sun Ra and Parliament. The Cosmics don’t chase the cosmos — they transmit it.

DOJO RISE
Dojo Rise are carving out their own lane in the Australian music scene with a fresh, high-energy fusion of alternative reggae, rock, pop, and indie soul.
Hailing from Aldinga, South Australia, this powerhouse trio delivers an electrifying live show that has captivated audiences across the country.

DJ ROLPLAY
We are so stoked to have Roland West, a long-term favourite, back on this stage again after too long away. He is the man behind Rolplay with his legendary mix of silky fat grooves that are to die for on the dance floor! We are in for yet another amazing dance party out in the garden.

REFRESHMENTS
Food and drinks available with all proceeds going to the upkeep of Verrierdale Hall. This is a licensed event – 18+ only.

Please note: A limited number of $50 cash only tickets will be available at the door when online sales finish at 5.00pm on the day of the show. Doors open at 7.00pm.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning
for HEAVY RAINFALL via
For people in Wide Bay and Burnett and parts of Central Highlands and Coalfields, Central West, Capricornia, Maranoa and Warrego, Darling Downs and Granite Belt and Southeast Coast Forecast Districts.

Issued at 4:29 pm Tuesday, 23 December 2025.

Severe thunderstorms with isolated heavy falls over the southeast this afternoon and evening.
Weather Situation: Slow-moving thunderstorms are continuing within a very moist and unstable airmass along a surface trough in the southeast.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Maroochydore, Gympie, Kingaroy, Noosa Heads, Cherbourg and Taroom.

51mm was recorded at Mt Tabor (Carnarvon National Park) in the 1 hour to 3:06 pm.

Emergency services advise people to:
* Park your car undercover away from trees.
* Close doors and windows.
* Keep asthma medications close by. Storms and wind can trigger asthma attacks.
* Charge mobile phones and power banks in case the power goes out.
* Put your pets somewhere safe and make sure they can be identified in case they get lost.
* Do not drive now unless you have to because conditions are dangerous.
* Tell friends, family and neighbours in the area.
* Go inside a strong building now. Stay inside until the storm has passed.

The next warning is due to be issued by 7:30 pm.
