Planned burn - Conservation Park
Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) will conduct planned burns between Tuesday 16 September to Monday 22 September 2025 as part of the annual prescribed burn program for parks and forests.
The aim of this burn is to reduce the threat of severe wildfires in periods of very high fire danger and help protect life, property and maintain a healthy forest environment.
Smoke may be seen in the vicinity of Eumundi and North Arm. 
Persons with respirator or other health problems should seek medical advice on mitagating the effects of smoke inhalation. Smoke can decrease visibility on the roads, so it is important that motorists drive safely to the conditions.
Please observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers and do not enter closed areas.
Facilities will reopen when conditions are considered safe.
Stay up-to-date with Current bushfire warnings and incidents from Queensland Fire Department (QFD).

Its our 5th Birthday - doesn’t time fly by!!
Our Birthday Celebrations and Swap will be on Thursday 29 May.
Where: Eumundi Community Garden - 38 Memorial Drive
Time: set up of swap goodies from 10am
Around 10.15am the swap will start. Just walk around and take what you like.
What to bring: excess fruit and veges, food related plants, cuttings and seeds, empty pots, jars, gardening and cooking books, old garden tools…
All are welcome and if you don’t think you have anything to share that’s okay too - come share some garden tips or a favourite recipe.
Bring a wrapped present along, preferably one that is homemade. recycled, upcycled... this is optional.
For those who want to stay on after the swap we will be having a shared lunch so bring a plate of something along. also bring a chair and a cup and your own beverage of choice.
Hope to see you there to celebrate this milestone - going from about 12 people at the first swap in 2020 to now having over 1200 plus online members, Thanks everyone for being part of this ‘growing’ community.
