We ended up back at the deep spot today, while the rest of the creek is almost dry this spot has water being held up by nothing but bedrock bars.
We checked the deepest drop off in the set of bars and the swim paid off for the 4 tubs
- but that's nearly it for workable dirt and we must once again hunt for a honey hole 🐎🤠

A good flooding would go a long way for the spring prospecting season 🙌😁

A multi-day adventure starting with a trip to the Cadgee Goldfields with fellow prospector/Filmer - Ash!

Was a half day checking out some of the best ground available on the south coast. Not for the faint hearted adventurer 😬

We did our fair share of panning this week hitting some creeks with very little to NO gold showing up during testing.

Determined, we dig deeper to get through the layers of non-bearing wash to find what we were looking for...

A simple sign that gold passed through here once ago.. With this, it was clear majority of what's good here has fallen out upstream and needs to be investigated on the next trip out.
Some sizable flecks amongst the specs.

Day 4 of this trip was working over some bars still holding good looking deposits, went wild in one until we got to the bottom gravels.

Processing all the dirt along the way for maximum specs 😂👌
Back at it the rest of the week with the 4 part video coming out tonight/tomorrow, before more weekend prospecting!
