Our very own sweet little sunshine is 5 weeks old today.. so it’s only appropriate as a 2nd child to post his 1 week old milestone disc (this was actually taken on the right day.. go Mum). It was easy to think a 2nd baby would be a walk in the park.. but sleep deprivation is still hard, breastfeeding is bloody hard, recovery is hard & wrangling a toddler... hard.. I recently read a post about choosing your ‘hard’... and I would choose this hard a million times over. Im stopping to be thankful for every cry, every tantrum, nappy & all the joy in the world these amazing little people bring ✨Second time round I’ve learnt it’s ok for things to be hard.. as long as I take time to breathe, get some perspective & look after myself. This week is booked for a Mama hair makeover! Shoutout to all the other Mamas out there finding it hard.. look after yourself.. it’s all worth it ♥
